Shipping policy

BINDING AGREEMENT: These Shipping Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer”, “you”) and Lawnova (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By completing a purchase and placing an order on the official Lawnova website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to abide by these shipping terms as well as all applicable local laws and cross-border e-commerce regulations.

1. Holiday & Peak Season Shipping Notice

Shipping processing, transit, and delivery times may be extended during major holidays, shopping peak seasons, carrier busy periods, or extreme weather conditions. Minor shipping delays may occur occasionally, which do not constitute grounds for order cancellation, free returns, or compensation claims.

2. Valid Shipping Coverage & Excluded Locations

2.1 Serviceable Shipping Areas

Our authorized third-party carriers provide standard ground delivery service to the 48 contiguous United States and Germany. Shipping services are not available for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. overseas territories, affiliated islands, and remote German islands by default.

2.2 Unsupported Delivery Addresses

Our carriers cannot deliver to the following address types in the United States and Germany, and any orders placed with invalid addresses will be subject to delayed delivery, return-to-sender, or automatic order cancellation without prior notice:
  • Standard PO boxes, rural residential PO boxes, and postal lockers
  • Public drop-off boxes operated by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other logistics providers
  • Freight forwarding warehouses, third-party parcel consolidation addresses, and overseas mailbox service locations
  • Military bases, diplomatic addresses, and other government-restricted delivery zones

3. Approved Shipping Carriers & Methods

3.1 Default Shipping Method

Due to the product characteristics of robotic lawn mowers and related accessories, all Lawnova orders adopt standard ground shipping as the only available delivery method. Expedited air shipping or overnight delivery services are not supported.

3.2 Authorized Third-Party Carriers

  • Robotic lawn mower units: Delivered via FedEx or UPS (US); DHL or local authorized ground carriers (Germany)
  • Replacement parts and accessories: Delivered via FedEx (US); DHL or regional authorized logistics partners (Germany)
The final carrier assigned to your order will be confirmed in your official order shipment notification email. We reserve the right to adjust carrier allocation based on regional logistics arrangements without affecting your delivery rights.

4. Shipping Fee Rules

4.1 Free Shipping Eligibility

All orders including robotic lawn mowers, and all accessory orders with a subtotal of $99 USD or above qualify for complimentary standard ground shipping. Free shipping does not cover optional shipping insurance or value-added logistics services purchased separately by customers.

4.2 Standard Shipping Fee

Accessory orders with a subtotal below $99 USD are subject to a flat standard shipping fee of $9.99 USD. The final shipping cost will be automatically calculated and displayed during checkout based on your exact shipping address, and no additional hidden fees will be charged after order confirmation.

5. Estimated & Actual Delivery Timelines

5.1 Estimated Delivery Window

The standard estimated delivery time for all Lawnova products is 5–7 business days from the date of order shipment, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.

5.2 Delivery Delay Factors

Actual delivery times may vary by regional location, remote zone restrictions, payment verification delays, carrier operational adjustments, peak promotional periods, or adverse weather conditions. Order tracking information may take up to 72 hours to update in the carrier system after shipment. Any delays caused by third-party logistics are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds or compensation.

6. Order Shipment Tracking & Notifications

All official order updates and shipment notifications will be sent to the email address you register or fill in at checkout. You are solely responsible for ensuring your contact email is valid and accessible, and we shall not be liable for missed updates caused by invalid email information.
You will receive two core official emails after placing an order: (1) an Order Confirmation email verifying your order details, item specifications, and billing information; (2) a Shipment Notification email containing your order number, carrier information, and valid tracking number once your package dispatches.
You may check real-time shipping status, transit updates, and delivery progress via the official tracking link provided in the notification email. All order modification, refund, and shipment adjustment updates will also be notified via email in a timely manner.

7. Order Cancellation & Shipment Modification Rules

If you need to cancel your confirmed order after payment, please contact our official customer support team initiatively to submit a cancellation application. All order cancellations and subsequent returns will be processed in strict accordance with our official Return & Refund Policy.
We do not recommend passive package refusal. Any package loss, damage, or additional logistics fees incurred by unapproved refusal or unauthorized receipt abandonment shall be borne solely by the customer.

8. Shipment Risk, Loss & Damage Liability

8.1 Risk Transfer Rule

Once your product is picked up and officially dispatched by our authorized carrier and leaves our warehouse custody, all risks of loss, damage, missing parts, or transit accidents shall transfer to you. Lawnova assumes no liability for any logistics-related issues occurring after handover to the first-party carrier.

8.2 Delivery Signature Requirements

For high-value robotic lawn mower units, we strongly recommend in-person signature confirmation upon delivery to secure your package. Waiving signature confirmation will increase the risk of package loss, porch piracy, and unauthorized receipt, and such risks shall be undertaken by the customer.
If you are unavailable to sign for delivery, you may use official FedEx Delivery Manager services to adjust your delivery arrangement:
  • Hold your package at a nearby FedEx location for free pickup (up to 10 days for ground shipments, up to 5 days for expedited shipments)
  • Reschedule delivery time or redirect the package to an alternative address (additional carrier fees may apply)
Any package confirmed as signed for by you, your household members, or authorized recipients will be deemed successfully delivered. No loss, non-delivery, or theft claims will be accepted for signed confirmed orders.

8.3 Wrong Item Delivery Handling

If you receive an incorrect product, you must retain the original outer shipping label and package proof. We will verify the delivery error based on official package information and provide corresponding replacement or refund solutions in accordance with our after-sales policy.

8.4 Packaging Damage & Claim Rules

Minor outer package damage that does not affect product complete functionality, normal operation, or internal integrity does not qualify for free return or damage compensation. Customers who initiate returns for purely cosmetic packaging damage will be responsible for return shipping fees and applicable restocking fees.
If you discover severe package damage or suspected product damage upon receipt, please follow the official claim process strictly: (1) Capture complete photos and videos of all package sides and damaged areas; (2) Unpack and record internal product conditions with clear visual proof; (3) Submit damage claims to our support team within 48 hours of delivery.
All damage claims submitted beyond the 48-hour window or without valid visual evidence will be rejected. Any activation, use, or modification of the product after receipt will be deemed acceptance of the product status, and no subsequent shipping damage claims will be approved.
